With K2 Base, the free online planning software by K2 Systems, you can design a complete mounting system in only five steps including an assembly plan, a statics report and an article list. In addition, K2 Base provides a data transfer to the design tools of many well-known inverter manufacturers (see here).
The latest version, K2 Base 3.0, is now available.
The software update comes with the following new functions and control elements:
- Keep track of your projects: the dashboard
The new dashboard provides an overview of planned, current and completed projects. The user can keep track of all information at the same time, thanks to useful filter options and short overviews for each project. - Redesigned user interface
The clear layout, the modern look and additional buttons for navigation ensure an intuitive use of the software. - Faster calculation of projects
Thanks to a new software architecture, the new version processes the data more efficiently and, thus, makes the calculation even faster. - Already integrated: Design of Dome 6 and MicroRail mounting systems
The new Dome 6 systems for flat roofs and the MicroRail systems for corrugated and trapezoidal sheet metal roofs can already be planned with the K2 Base 3.0.
If you would like to take a closer look at the new software and how the planning of the Dome 6 system works, you are invited to one of the new webinars by K2 Systems.
Dates, training contents and the registration links can be found on the K2 Systems training page.
In addition, you can also get an overview of the structure, tools and functions of the new Base version with the help of the cheat sheet, which can be downloaded here:
