The tour highlights

This trip offers you a unique opportunity to get an inside look at three of the world’s leading companies in the solar and energy industries. Visit the innovation centres, headquarters, and production sites of LONGi, Huawei, and BYD, and gain exclusive insights into the technologies, processes, and strategies shaping the future of the energy transition. Engage in direct dialogue with experts, product managers, and decision-makers to learn about the developments that will drive the industry in the coming years.

Huawei: The comprehensive Smart PV portfolio focuses on innovative residential and C&I solutions, as well as the new LUNA2000 Laterra S2 all-in-one storage system with an integrated inverter and AI-powered energy management.
BYD: In addition to the tried-and-tested HVM+/HVS+ systems and the HVB series with blade battery cells from automotive manufacturing, the spotlight is on the launch of BYD’s in-house BYD Power-Box TH5-15K inverter and the new C&I storage system, Battery-Box Mega.
LONGi: Take a look behind the scenes at LONGi Solar’s market-leading back-contact module technology, which is currently used in the Ecolife Hi-MO S10 and X10 product lines.

You will also participate in the Huawei Global Installer Summit 2027. At the summit, installation companies, industry experts, and decision-makers from around the world will gather to discuss current market trends, technological developments, and future topics in the solar and energy sectors. The trip will conclude with a group stay in Hong Kong before the return journey to Europe.

Want to join us? Interested solar installation companies can apply using the registration form provided. Please describe your motivation for participating. A joint jury consisting of representatives from LONGi, Huawei, BYD, and EWS will evaluate the applications received and select the participants. Selected companies will receive further information and the final agenda following the selection process.

Announcement of participants: by 30 November 2026, at the latest
Estimated travel date: March 2027
Duration of trip: at least 7 days

For the selected partners, the brand manufacturers and EWS will cover all costs starting from the departure airport. This includes flights, hotel accommodations, meals, transfers within China, as well as all program activities and factory tours.

Terms of participation and important information

By registering, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

You regularly install at least one of the participating PV brands.
Resellers are excluded from this promotion.
Only one person per company may apply and participate if nominated.
Please fill out our promotion form by 31 October 2026.
Places will be granted by a panel consisting of Huawei, LONGi, BYD, and EWS. The selection panel’s decision is final.
The selected participants will be notified by 30 November 2026.
All travel services from the agreed-upon departure airport are provided by EWS and our brand partners. Travel to and from the European departure airport is at your own expense.
The trip is scheduled to take place in March 2027 and will last at least seven days.
We reserve the right to make changes to the itinerary, the travel dates, and individual activities.
The trip is subject to organizational, regulatory, and logistical conditions.
A passport that is valid for the duration of the trip is required for participation.
Note on admission: Applicants must comply with the currently valid entry requirements for China. For example, German, Danish, and Swedish nationals currently have visa-free entry until 31 December 2026. Since the trip is not scheduled to take place until 2027, different entry and visa requirements may apply in the future. EWS will inform the selected travelers of the necessary documents and requirements well in advance of departure.
