Rails, clamps or connectors – SL Rack’s meticulously designed installation system requires just one tool: Torx 40. This puts an end to different screws, changing bits and interrupted workflows. It saves time and hassle and makes working on the roof much more relaxed.
5 components for a roof: Maximum simplicity in planning and logistics
Say goodbye to a confusing array of parts: SL Rack’s pitched roof substructure covers the entire system with just 5 key components (roof hooks, RAIL, centre clamps, end clamps and rail connectors). This ensures extremely simple, lightning-fast project planning, reduces logistics and storage requirements to a minimum, and ensure a smooth workflow on site.
Installation in record time: Pre-assembled and perfectly matched components
Faster to install, faster to complete: SL Rack’s components are largely pre-assembled and optimally matched to one another. This saves time during installation, ensures easy, safe handling and minimises the risk of errors during assembly.
Focus on ergonomics and health and safety
Thought out down to the last detail: all components can be conveniently screwed into place from above, which helps prevent postural problems and makes working on the roof significantly more comfortable. In addition, the majority of SL Rack’s components are neatly deburred at the factory. This protects against sharp edges, effectively prevents injuries during handling and, at the same time, protects the PV cables.

Roof Hook 3D SL Alu - L (long)
Tried-and-tested standard solution made from aluminium for tiled roofs (rafter width 36–64 mm). Thanks to its 3D adjustability, it perfectly compensates for uneven rafters and tiles, minimises the need for tile cutting and, thus, prevents tiles from breaking. Tested for lightning current, injury-proof with no sharp edges, and compatible with the SL Alu-Flex 2000 system. Quick installation using just one tool (Torx 40).

Mid and end clamps
Universal module clamps for frame heights from 28 to 45 mm. Thanks to their clever design, they can be flexibly mounted vertically or horizontally, easily slid along the SL Rack RAIL and quickly released again. An integrated driver speeds up installation. Available in bare aluminium or black anodised, they can be secured in a flash using just one tool (Torx 40).
D-plate
This precisely shaped roof replacement panel, made from powder-coated steel, fits perfectly in place of the roof tile without the need for cutting. This prevents tiles from breaking and distributes loads directly. Features an integrated bracket for height adjustment and strict German building authority approval (abZ) for maximum safety. Available in brick red and anthracite to suit many tile types, and fully compatible with all SL Rack pitched roof systems.
Trapez 3
The universal aluminium mounting rail (370 mm) for trapezoidal sheet metal roofs. It is quickly and easily screwed into place from above across several raised ribs and ensures maximum clearance from the water-bearing layer. Pre-fitted EPDM strips provide a reliable seal. Ideal for vertical module installation – can also be used horizontally with a shim plate. Accessories available as optional extras.
