FENECON is expanding its portfolio for commercial energy storage systems: with the Commercial 100, our partner is launching a new solution designed for larger companies as well as agricultural and industrial applications with high power requirements.
As the bigger sibling of the Commercial 50 (previously covered in our news), the system combines maximum PV integration, intelligent control, and reliable backup power supply in one solution – setting a new benchmark in the commercial storage segment.
The new benchmark in the commercial segment
The scalable all-in-one system consists of up to five battery towers based on lithium iron phosphate (LiFePOâ‚„), a hybrid inverter with a maximum DC input power of 200 kWp and 8 MPP trackers, as well as a parallel connection box. For backup power supply, an STS box can be added (optional).
Every storage system includes the award-winning Open-EMS energy management system FEMS. It intelligently controls, monitors, and optimizes energy flows via secure FENECON servers located in Germany (and can optionally operate autonomously without an internet connection). The scope of delivery also includes the apps “Self-consumption Optimization” and “Grid-supportive Charging.”
A system that learns and grows with you
With optional FEMS apps (available as a one-time purchase), the system can be expanded at any time—for example to enable dynamic electricity tariffs, peak shaving, or the flexible integration of additional generators and consumers, as well as PV-optimized integration of EV charging infrastructure, heat pumps, and heating elements. This creates a tailored energy system that perfectly supports your customer’s individual energy journey.

Expansion available from the second half of 2026
The Commercial 100 will be available in two expansion stages. The system described above – with lower capacity and power – is already available for order. In the second half of 2026, a second expansion stage will be launched, enabling systems with up to 10 battery towers, a maximum storage capacity of up to 420 kWh, and a maximum charge and discharge power of 100 kW. Good to know for you and your customers: existing systems from the first expansion stage can be upgraded to the second stage without additional effort.
