With the new generation of the PIKO CI series, KOSTAL is launching two powerful commercial inverters onto the market: the PIKO CI 30 G2 and the PIKO CI 50 G2. The G2 inverters offer a wide input voltage range from 200 to 1100 V, with the 50 kW model supporting up to four MPP trackers. DC-side overloading of up to 150 % enables even greater energy yields on commercial rooftops. This makes it easy to implement complex system layouts with multiple strings and differing module orientations. Integrated type 2 DC overvoltage protection on all inputs, along with an AC disconnection device, provide a high level of operational safety. Additional protection is ensured through comprehensive grid monitoring.
The new generation also impresses during installation with practical improvements: A newly developed housing provides a generously sized connection area and enables streamlined cable management. The tool-free mounting bracket speeds up on-site work and minimizes potential errors. Commissioning is carried out effortlessly via Bluetooth using the new KOSTAL Solar App – intuitive, quick, and with no additional hardware required. For system monitoring, the free KOSTAL Solar Portal offers detailed visualizations of yields and operating data – ideal for those looking to manage and analyze their PV system effectively.
