With the FlexHome-H, Solis offers a modular high-voltage battery storage system for residential and smaller commercial PV systems. The system combines flexible scalability with intelligent energy management, a high IP rating, and fast backup power transition. The result is a versatile storage solution with an attractive price-to-performance ratio.
Modular scalability: 15 to 40 kWh per battery unit
One battery system can be configured with three to eight modules, providing a nominal capacity of 15 to 40 kWh. For larger storage capacities, up to four FlexHome-H systems can be connected in parallel.
The modular design makes system sizing easier for installers: storage capacity can be configured to suit the system design and energy requirements of each customer project and expanded later as required, without having to commit to a fixed storage size from the outset.
The system uses lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) battery cells. The FlexHome-H offers a depth of discharge of up to 100% DoD. Solis also specifies a cycle life of at least 8,000 cycles under defined cell test conditions.

Intelligent energy management and fast backup power transition
Solis AI, the intelligent energy optimization function within SolisCloud,
enables energy flows and operating strategies within the Solis system to be managed intelligently. PV generation, battery storage, and connected loads can therefore be coordinated to suit the respective application.
In combination with compatible Solis hybrid inverters, the FlexHome-H also supports island mode operation. Transition between grid-connected and island mode takes less than 10 milliseconds – an important feature for systems requiring a rapid backup power supply.
Over-the-air (OTA) updates enable remote software updates and can simplify both operation and maintenance.
Safe operation – even under demanding installation conditions
With an IP66 rating and C5-M corrosion protection class, the FlexHome-H is designed for both indoor and outdoor installation. Depending on the installation conditions, floor or wall mounting is possible.
According to the manufacturer, an optional heating function enables operation at ambient temperatures down to -20°C.
The safety concept includes protection against overvoltage and undervoltage, overcurrent, and excessive temperatures.
Additional safety features include a DC circuit breaker and DC overcurrent fuses.
