SMA is expanding its product range in the commercial sector: With an output of 125 kW and 12 MPP trackers, the Sunny Tripower 125 (STP125-70) is particularly suitable for large commercial systems up to the megawatt range – and thus, in terms of output, is at least one size larger than the Sunny Tripower CORE2 (110 kW, only available for a short period) or the Sunny Tripower CORE1 (50 kW).

The STP125-70 offers everything a product solution needs for decentralized system structures in ground-mounted and complex roof systems in terms of safety, integration options, flexibility, and yield and performance optimization:
- 125 kW output, 150 % oversizing of the PV array possible
- Integrated SMA ShadeFix software solution for yield optimization in shading conditions
- Wide MPP voltage range: 180 V – 1000 V
- SMA Smart Connected: automated free monitoring, quick notification in the event of a fault and quick, precise maintenance by solar professionals on the device thanks to suitable fault diagnosis
- SMA ArcFix arc-fault circuit interrupter
- Maximum IT security thanks to cyber security protection measures
- I-V array diagnostics to ensure operational safety
- Overvoltage protection type 1+2 DC-side and type 2 AC-side included
- 12 MPP trackers with 24 string inputs also enable complex system designs
- Suitable for the new generation of powerful bifacial and high-current modules: maximum usable input current per MPP tracker of 30 A
- The latest SMA inverter communication for commissioning and operation
- Wi-Fi access for diagnostics and commissioning
- Standard five-year warranty, can be extended to a maximum of 20 years via SMA

For an increased self-consumption, SMA offers its Commercial Solar Solution, a comprehensive, worry-free package of components, software, services and training for solar power professionals.
The Sunny Tripower 125 is the core element of this solution in terms of hardware. Thanks to communication via SMA Speedwire and Modbus, commercial storage systems or charging infrastructure can be easily integrated. The SMA Data Manager M (also available from us) takes over monitoring and management.
