With the TS4-X-O, Tigo is introducing the next generation of its module optimizers. It combines proven optimization technology with higher power reserves and enables maximum energy yield even in partial shading or with different module orientations – with the usual easy integration into new and existing PV systems. The optimizer is designed for currents up to 25 A and 800 W module power, making it ideally suited for the growing class of modern high-current modules.
Tigo's patented optimization technology ensures that each module reaches its optimal operating point independently from the rest of the string. Power losses due to partial shading, different module inclinations, or manufacturing tolerances are effectively reduced — yields increase noticeably, which shortens the system's payback period. Another advantage: The TS4-X-O can be used selectively only on modules affected by shading or mismatch. This allows even larger systems to be flexibly optimized without having to equip every module with optimizers. With its high current and power capacity, the TS4-X-O is a future-proof choice – both for new installations and for repowering projects that aim to better exploit the potential of existing systems.
The installation is straightforward: The compact optimizer is clipped onto the module frame without tools, or alternatively it can be attached directly to the mounting structure. Pre-assembled cables reduce installation time and minimize potential errors — a real advantage, especially in larger projects.
Integration into the Tigo Energy Intelligence Portal is handled via the Tigo Access Point (TAP) and Cloud Connect Advanced (CCA). There, operators and installation companies gain complete transparency down to the module level, including performance data, alerts, and remote maintenance — ideal for quick diagnosis and maximum system availability.
Safety is ensured by the integrated rapid shutdown feature, compliant with UL-PVRSS, which protects installation and maintenance personnel as well as emergency responders. Thanks to its open architecture, the TS4-X-O is compatible with most of our inverters: Fronius, Huawei, Kaco, Kostal, RCT, and Delta — ideal for new and existing systems of any size.
