Trina Solar has once again been recognized for its outstanding corporate social responsibility (CSR).
In a current analysis by the independent rating agency EcoVadis, the renowned manufacturer of photovoltaic modules has been granted a “Silver Recognition Level”, which is the second best available score.
EcoVadis, which conducts performance surveys on the supplier sustainability for global supply chains, has evaluated the performances over four major categories, i. e. environment, labour practices & human rights, fair business practices and sustainable procurement. Trina Solar is now ranked in the top 13 % of all assessed multinational businesses, thus, trumping its performance from last year.
In addition to this latest CSR assessment, Trina Solar continues to hold a top position in the Silicon Valley Toxics Coalition's (SVTC) Solar Scorecard, along with the Company recently being named as the world's most bankable PV manufacturer by Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF).
