Sunny Tripower 125: The new SMA inverter for large commercial PV systems
SMA is expanding its product range in the commercial sector: With an output of 125 kW and 12 MPP trackers, the Sunny Tripower 125 (STP125-70) is particularly suitable for large commercial systems up to the megawatt range – and thus, in terms of output, is at least one size larger than the Sunny Tripower CORE2 (110 kW, only available for a short period) or the Sunny Tripower CORE1 (50 kW).
SMA Home Storage Solution claims top spot in HTW Berlin’s energy storage inspection
The SMA Home Storage Solution ranks among the most efficient home energy storage systems on the market. During the most recent energy storage inspection at the Berlin University of Applied Sciences (HTW), the SMA system in the up-to-5 kW power class achieved a System Performance Index (SPI) of 92.8%. This achievement positions SMA at the top of its power class for hybrid inverters (DC-coupled systems) up to 5 kW, setting a new record with the highest value recorded to date.

The single-phase hybrid inverter is the 2-in-1 solution for generating and flexibly using solar power. With 3 MPP trackers, different roof orientations can be planned for solar power production. It charges connected batteries particularly quickly, making the most of periods with low sunlight. Heat pumps, wall boxes, and intelligent energy management can be integrated flexibly into the energy system at any time.
SMA Home Storage
Whether there is low sunlight or midday peak, solar power can be stored in SMA Home Storage and is available as needed. The battery offers flexible scalability (from 3.2 kWh to 16.4 kWh), which can be adapted to individual requirements, and has a particularly long service life of around 8,000 charging cycles.
SMA eCharger
The SMA eCharger's intelligent charging modes adapt to user needs through forecast-based operation. It automatically switches between phases, enabling charging during periods of low solar output for cost-effective mobility, higher PV self-consumption, and faster amortization of the PV system.
