KACO new energy, a subsidiary of Siemens AG, is a German manufacturer of inverters for photovoltaic systems and battery storage. Its product portfolio covers systems ranging from single-family homes to multi-megawatt solar parks. The company focuses on outstanding quality, social and environmental responsibilities, and the satisfaction of both customers and employees.
Since 1999, the Neckarsulm-based company has delivered over 900,000 inverters with a cumulative output of 20 GW. KACO new energy was the first company in the photovoltaic industry to produce its inverters CO2-neutrally.

Increased cybersecurity rules for radio equipment – Inverters from KACO new energy are fully compliant with new RED requirements
As of August 1, 2025, enhanced cybersecurity requirements under the Radio Equipment Directive (RED) will take effect. This key EU regulation applies to all electrical products that transmit or receive radio waves for communication. Products from KACO new energy are already ahead of the curve: our products are secure, connected, and fully RED-compliant.
KACO blueplanet 25.0 – 33.0 NX3 M3 – Flexible layout and system integration
KACO new energy is now offering a multi-MPPT string inverter that can be used for new installations, retrofitting and repowering of commercial and industrial rooftop systems: blueplanet 25.0 - 33.0 NX3 M3. The three-phase transformerless product innovation is available in three power classes: with an output power of 25 kVA, 30 kVA and 33 kVA. Our German inverter partner, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, is thereby closing a gap in its portfolio.

With the three-phase blueplanet 125 NX3 M10, our partner offers a string inverter for large, complex commercial and industrial PV roof systems with a rated output of 125 kVA and a maximum efficiency of 98.7 %. In addition to 10 MPP trackers for flexible system design, the transformerless inverter allows DC-side overloading up to 200 %.
