What to look forward to

• A look behind the scenes: One big highlight is the exclusive guided tour of SMA’s production facilities and laboratories in Niestetal. Get to know the processes, technologies and people behind SMA’s innovative energy solutions.
• First-hand knowledge: From residential systems to commercial storage projects – look forward to practical insights into SMA’s product portfolio, including the SMA Energy Solution for residential buildings and small commercial projects, as well as the SMA Storage XL Package for the C&I sector. At themed stands, you will have the opportunity to engage in personal discussions with our experts. In addition, we at EWS will provide you with information on our current services one commercial storage systems, your opportunities in the current market, and how you can make your PV projects even more cost-effective through energy management.
• A varied programme of activities that features fire and water: On the first evening, enjoy delicious grilled food during a group barbecue, and pick up some handy tips and tricks on barbecuing for when you get home. On the afternoon of the second day, you will visit the Kassel Water Games in the Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the region’s most significant landmarks.
• Bed and breakfast included: Relax at the EE Hotel, your accommodation for the night. The hotel is within walking distance to the SMA headquarters.

Terms of participation and important information

Would you like to apply? If so, please note the following requirements:

• Application period: 1 August to 31 August 2026
• The number of places is limited.
• Places will be allocated by lottery once the application period has closed. All applicants will be notified of the outcome.
• The costs of accommodation, meals and the event programme will be covered by EWS and SMA.
• Travel to and from the event is the responsibility of the participants.
• One room is available per company. The room may be used as a single room or shared by two people from the same company.
• The decision is final and no legal recourse is available.
• The event will be held in German.
