With the HELIVOR HV, KOSTAL introduces a powerful high-voltage energy storage system designed specifically for use with the KOSTAL PLENTICORE G3 and MP inverters. The system combines high performance, easy installation, flexible expandability, and advanced safety technology — making it ideal for both residential and commercial applications.
Exceptional modularity and performance
Thanks to its high modularity, the HELIVOR HV is a future-proof solution. Each energy system consists of a stable base unit and up to nine LFP battery modules, each with a capacity of 3.2 kWh. This allows the storage system to be tailored to individual energy needs and expanded at any time — from 6.4 kWh to 28.8 kWh per tower.
For larger installations, up to eight towers can be connected in parallel, offering a total capacity of up to 230.4 kWh. This scalability enables flexible use across a wide range of applications — from single-family homes and multi-unit buildings to commercial and industrial systems.
As a high-voltage storage system, the HELIVOR HV operates at significantly higher system voltages than conventional low-voltage batteries. This results in greater efficiency, reduced power losses, and faster charging and discharging — making it ideal for high-performance energy systems.
With a system efficiency of ≥ 96 %, the HELIVOR HV sets new standards in its class. When combined with KOSTAL PLENTICORE G3 and MP inverters, it forms a perfectly matched energy system that ensures maximum energy yield and operational reliability. Compatibility with the PLENTICORE plus G2 is expected from Q2 2026.
High safety and easy installation
Built on proven lithium iron phosphate (LFP) technology, the HELIVOR HV offers outstanding thermal stability, long service life, and sustainability. The integrated Battery Management System (BMS) monitors and controls all modules, ensuring efficient charging and discharging, active balancing, and optimal performance even at low temperatures down to -10 °C. With an IP65 protection class, the system is suitable for both indoor and protected outdoor installations.
The clever design enables quick, space-saving installation. The modules are connected without screws and with plug-in connectors, allowing a true Plug & Play setup. No separate commissioning or configuration is required — the system is ready to use immediately and remains up to date through automatic or manual software updates via the inverter. The compact base unit ensures stability and requires minimal floor space, making installation possible even in smaller rooms.
