Just in time for the end of the year: In the Kätnerland business park in Handewitt, the seventh EWS warehouse with adjacent office building was completed as planned in November and officially opened today. The family business is thereby sending a clear signal for the future.
In the long term, the new building will be used to handle direct deliveries, particularly for storage systems and modules, as direct deliveries account for a significant share of sales.
With the new building, EWS is expanding its 14,000 square meters of warehouse space by a further 1,800 square meters, providing space for over 700 module and battery storage pallets each. This increases the storage capacity considerably.
The access to the new warehouse 7 and the six new truck loading bays is shown on the extended EWS transport guide.
The opening of the new warehouse was celebrated with the entire staff and the contractors involved. Following the new team photo there was a joint pre-Christmas meal. The colleagues looked back on the many challenges they had overcome over the past year. With this investment, the EWS team is making it clear that it continues to focus on stability and growth, just as it did with the switch to a new, future-proof merchandise management system. In view of a very optimistic forecast for the upcoming business year, EWS is looking back positively on 2024 and confidently into the new year.
