Despite facing a challenging market landscape, the Northern German photovoltaic wholesale company EWS GmbH & Co. KG concludes the past fiscal year with a positive outlook. As we enter 2024, the family-owned enterprise remains committed to pursuing growth opportunities.
Comparison to 2022 reveals that in 2023, EWS was able to increase its revenue by more than 40%. The team led by EWS founder Kai Lippert and Jan Paul Dahm, his son and the designated successor in the company's management, is delighted to report a 40% increase in module sales, totaling over one million solar modules. Sales in the inverter category saw a 50% rise, while storage and mounting systems experienced an impressive two-thirds growth. This expansion was accompanied by a significant increase in the customer base within the installing trade, allowing EWS to deepen existing trustworthy partnerships and establish new ones.

“We are continuing the path of internationalization and digitalization that we have already embarked on” explains Kai Lippert. “This includes advancing the digitalization of our internal tools and online platforms, as well as streamlining workflows with our partner businesses and suppliers. The aim is to enhance efficiency across all departments.” Jan Paul Dahm, responsible for business development, adds: “Furthermore, we aim to continue growing in our focus markets in Scandinavia and the Netherlands, reaching out to new target audiences, and strengthening the foundation of our partner network. In Germany, we plan to establish an even stronger presence, for instance, through participation in trade fairs and seminar events, as well as through expanded collaborations with our suppliers.”
